Workshop Wednesday!

These workshops are great for all athletes, gymnasts, performance athletes, cheerleaders, dancers..... everyone is welcome! Lead by certified staff, each workshop is 2.5 hour. Participants will also be provided with fitness training techniques so they can learn to push beyond the basics!!

AGF Membership fee must be purchased after third workshop

Fitted active wear is required. Bring a water bottle and prepare to sweat!

Power Tumbling Development Workshop -

Are you looking to increase your tumbling skills for your upcoming season? This workshop will explore proper technical feedback and direction on skills starting from as basic as handstands to as powerful as front and back saltos.

Pre-requisite Skills: Kick up to Straight handstand against a wall (held for min. 20 sec.); Straight Cartwheel on a line; 3-5 full push ups consecutively; forward and backward roll in tucked position to feet.

Skills developed: Handstands, round-offs and handsprings forwards and backwards, forwards and backwards saltos.


Acro Tumbling Development Workshop -

Are you looking to upstage your pals on the playground this summer? This workshop will explore proper technical feedback and direction on skills starting from as basic as handstands to as graceful as walkovers and aerial cartwheels.  

Pre-requisite Skills: Kick up to Straight handstand against a wall (held for min. 20 sec.); Straight Cartwheel on a line; 2-3 full push ups consecutively; held bridge with straight arms and legs on flat floor.

Skills developed: Handstands and walkovers forwards and backwards, cartwheel variations and aerials.
